MktTurning — Privacy Policy

Overview

MktTurning is a technical computation tool for the US stock market. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency about data handling.

Data Collection

We do not include analytics or tracking SDKs.

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are included.
• No user account, name, email address, or phone number is required.
• If you choose MktTurning Cloud, the app contacts our server using an app token, StoreKit entitlement proof, trial/entitlement status, and watchlist symbols needed to provide the cloud data service.
• If you choose a third-party data source, your provider credentials are not sent to MktTurning Cloud.
• Our server may process routine technical logs such as IP address, request time, endpoint, and error status for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Your watchlist (stock symbols you choose to monitor)
• Your data source configuration
• Third-party API credentials you provide, stored in the device Keychain
• Your language preference
• Cached market data for performance (automatically cleared)

Third-party API credentials are stored in the device Keychain and are not accessible to us.

MktTurning Cloud

If you select MktTurning Cloud, the app sends a device-scoped app token, StoreKit signed transaction proof when available, trial or entitlement status, and the symbols needed to provide cloud market data. We use this to authenticate access, enforce the 7-day trial, monthly subscription, and 2-month lifetime-unlock cloud bonus, prevent abuse, and return market data to the app.

MktTurning Cloud does not receive your LongPort, Polygon, Databento, or other third-party provider credentials.

Third-Party Data Sources

The app connects to third-party data providers that you configure:

• LongPort (if you provide your API credentials)
• Yahoo Finance (public delayed data)
• Polygon (if you provide your API key)
• Databento (if you provide your API key)

Your third-party API credentials are stored locally in the device Keychain. We do not have access to them. Please review each provider's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
